I found another fan report from the Thor 2 Greenwich location, which I thought would be worth posting here.  The fan described a scene involving Malekith and uploaded a few pictures, as well (beware for spoilery speculation/info & pics below):

Over the past several weeks, filming for Thor 2 has once again resumed in London, England, which has allowed paparazzi and fans to catch a glimpse of some cast members on set.

So far, pictures and video footage have surfaced of Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Stellan Skarsgard, and Christopher Eccleston on set.

As we already know, Kat Dennings is officially returning as Darcy Lewis in Thor 2: The Dark World (woo-hoo! \o/).  In previous media reports, it was also reported that she would have a bigger role in the second installment.  Now, the official Thor 2 Twitter feed is also confirming that her role has been expanded, and that she will indeed be playing ( Read more... )

According to this article by Deadline.com, Kat Dennings will return as Darcy Lewis in Thor 2.  And although not much is being said at the moment, what is being reported is that her role has expanded from what it once was.  :D

Now, we can officially dance in joy & celebration.

Last night, Tom Hiddleston was honored as Glamour UK's 2012 Man of the Year, and apparently during one of his interviews, he did a little name dropping regarding returning cast members for Thor 2.  And one name he did mention was Kat Dennings!  O.O
